This is my completed wide, random scarf part of the ’set’ I’m making to go with the orange hat.

I love the scarf but its width definitely calls for super cold temps, so I’ll make a narrower, less random one after the wristies I am currently designing.

Anyway, I’ll probably write up the pattern for those who would be interested. It can easily be taken down a notch for a scarf-width, or taken up a notch for a wrap-width finished project.
